About Benjamin M. Williams, MD, FAAD
Benjamin M. Williams, MD, FAAD is a double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs Micrographic Surgeon with extensive expertise in medical, surgical, cosmetic, and teledermatology care. One of only a small number of dermatologists nationwide licensed to practice in more than 45 states, Dr. Williams expands access to high-quality dermatologic care beyond Yuma, Arizona through comprehensive telehealth services serving patients across the country.
Dr. Williams earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry magna cum laude from Marshall University, where he was recognized as the top chemist in his class. He went on to receive his medical degree from the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA and earning induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, the highest academic distinction for U.S. medical graduates.
He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York, where he trained under world-renowned experts in complex dermatologic conditions, including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and hair disorders. During residency, Dr. Williams served as Cosmetic Chief, gaining advanced training in both medical and aesthetic dermatology.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Williams is a dedicated educator and mentor who has taught medical students and residents and lectured on advanced dermatologic topics. He is also a leader in innovation, with a strong focus on telehealth and the development of science-backed skincare solutions, including the founding of his own premium skincare brand.
Drawn to underserved communities from his West Virginia roots, Dr. Williams found a profound calling in Yuma, Arizona. After completing his training in New York, he committed to a job in Scottsdale which brought him to Arizona. While waiting for the start date, he eagerly stepped in to fill a temporary position at Integrated Dermatology of Yuma following Dr. Ronald Harris’ retirement. After fulfilling his Scottsdale obligation, Yuma’s unmet dermatologic needs and incredible patient community compelled his return. Now, as the Medical Director and Physician Partner of Integrated Dermatology of Yuma, he is transforming local care by attracting top-tier providers and MOHS surgeons, ensuring patients receive premier treatment without traveling to distant cities like Phoenix or San Diego.
